Artist Opportunities

Call for Artists: Skatepark Mural Project - CLOSED

The Granby Public Art and Town Parks Committees invite local artists (including high school students) to add some color and flare to the non-skateable surfaces of the skatepark. The overall theme of this project is skateboarding culture and lifestyle. Accent areas will be painted orange. We’d love to see some concepts that include the color orange (incorporated in whatever way, and as little or as much as you envision) to provide cohesiveness between the various artworks.

There are 6 different individual spaces and one long space that will be split into 4 sections. Up to ten artists in total will be selected. Please see mock-ups and measurements below. Artists may submit sketches for multiple locations.

Call for Artists: Granby Art in the Park - CLOSED

The Granby Public Arts Committee is searching for artists to participate in the Art in the Park event on Sept 2-3. Artists will paint aspen leaves cut from large MDO boards to be mounted and prominently displayed along HWY 40 on the "long wall" in downtown Granby. Selected artists will receive a $500 stipend, plus an opportunity to win cash awards.
Application deadline: Sunday, August 7, 11:59PM
